Other Annual Venice Church Mission Outreaches:

Mission Committee Sponsored
Operation Christmas Child

Vacation Bible School: In 2016 100% of donations received at VBS were used to purchase food that was distributed to families served by the La Croix New Testament Mission in Haiti.  Five members of Venice Church traveled to Haiti to serve at the mission and distribute food in October 2016.  A second trip is scheduled for 2017 with a larger team of poeple.

 Dorcas Circle Sponsored
Annual Ladies Tea: Ladies of the church gather to hear a speaker and offer monetary support to a different ministry each year.  (In 2017, that ministry was New Hope City Center, Washington, PA.)

Create-a-Christmas: Each year, you, the members of Venice Church, give gifts to many of the homebound patients of East Liberty Healthcare Center.

Care Packages: Ladies of the Dorcas Circle fill packages for college students and military members of Venice Church

Other ministries are supported each year through the pledged giving of Dorcas Circle Ladies

Youth Sponsored
Souper Bowl Sunday: Youth collect dollar bills in soup pots on Superbowl Sunday each year.  Donations are given to a local ministry to help with hunger relief.

30 Hour Famine: Youth Group members pledge to fast for 30 hours to raise money for world hunger.  This event is sponsored by World Vision.  www.worldvision.org
